Women Wednesday: Lauren

The only time that I have ever seen a gorgeous woman in a comic shop was when she was running the cash register. This behind the scenes video was done at a photo shoot for A Comic Shop. Not only is Lauren shown with a few comic books and an action figure but she also dresses up as Supergirl and Batgirl.

Bonus video: Here is Tripod's "Hot Girl in the Comic Shop" skit:

My Zombie Fighting Dream Team

Darius Whiteplume posted his Zombie Fighting Dream Team a few days ago. My league of zombie destroyers would consists of the following:

Sybil Danning

The first person that came to my mind was the deadly yet beautiful Sybil Danning. Not only can she wield a sword but she knows how to handle big guns.

Supergirl

Next on my list is Supergirl because she is easier on the eyes than her cousin plus she has all his powers.

The Huntress

The Huntress is on my list for several reasons but mostly because she is not afraid of using her crossbow pistol.

Lara Croft

Lara Croft is on my team because she is used to running while shooting various weapons. Plus I needed another brunette on the team.

John Rambo

John Rambo is on my team because of his survival skills, ability to use any weapon and is just a bad ass.

DC Comics Christmas Card By The Kotzebue Bros.

The following DC Comics Christmas card by the Kotzebue Bros. features several members of the Justice League of America along with Robin and Supergirl. Notice that Aquaman is actually having fun while Batman is miffed about getting hit with a snowball. Yes, you can click on the image below for a larger version.

Supergirl Celebrating Christmas Double Feature

Al Rio did the artwork of Supergirl celebrating Christmas in two different costumes on a series of postcards (click below for larger images). I love the second costume the best due to the long red gloves and boots with white fur trim.

Supergirl's Alternate Santa Costume

Nick Powell was actually more creative with Sugergirl's alternate Santa costume. Her top, mini-skirt and cape actually matches the hat complete with the white fur trim. I love the white snake in diamond symbol (that's the S shield for those not in the know). I actually like this one better of the two.

Women Wrestling Wednesday: Supergirl vs Dark Mary Marvel

I'm starting a new weekly feature here called Women Wrestling Wednesday. The posts will feature videos of women wrestling. However, these videos have a twist in that they feature comic book characters brought to the ring thanks to various video games. Supergirl vs. Dark Mary Marvel starts the ball rolling and is made possible by Smackdown vs Raw 2008.
