Superman Christmas Stockings

Here are five different Christmas stockings featuring the Man of Steel that I found at various places:

Batman Christmas Stockings

While I am not doing a month long Christmas Countdown, there are five days until the big day. Here are five various Batman Christmas stockings that I found online at various places:

Thrift Store Find: McDonald's Lightning Lad

Put me down on the list of not getting any of the Legion of Super Heroes toys when they originally came with McDonald's Happy Meals a few years ago. The action figures were based on the cartoon show. I found a Lightning Lad figure still in the original box this morning at a local thrift store for twenty-five cents. A trading card still in the plastic came with it. The figure itself does not stand on its own but I do like the box and card.

Halloween Countdown 2009 Day 31: Elvira Treats

This post is full of various treats dealing with Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. To get the ball rolling, here is a look at some postcards from her official fan club:

Here is the Fright Sound Tape that was released in 1987 (I actually have this):

While we are on the subject of cassettes, here the insert for Elvira Presents Haunted Hits tape:

These Elvira greeting toons are from Comment Cherry:

I always wanted to know exactly what the Evil by Elvira cologne smelled:

This Italian charm watch may be for women but I would still like one:

This Coors Light Maliboo Beach table tent featuring Elvira is from 1993:

This is the official Elvira bracelet set still in the bag (the ones I bought came in a plastic shell on a card):

Finally, this is the official Elvira Black Widow earrings still in the bag (the ones I bought were in a plastic shell on a card):

Hope everyone enjoyed the Halloween Countdown 2009 posts. Be safe while trick or treating this year.

The First Marvel Hero Sticker Series 2 At Last

I finally managed to get Marvel Hero Sticker Series 2 #1, which is Spider-Man, at the local store's vending machine earlier. This time I took a picture of the sticker instead of scanning so you can see the color better. Now I only need #2 and #12 to complete the set.

Thrift Store Finds: Superman Knightfall

I actually found these two items at two different thrift stores on Friday morning but I am just now getting around to posting about them. The Superman action figure has some wear on the paint and smells like crayons but it was only fifty cents. The Batman: Knightfall by Dennis O'Neil paperback book was had for a dollar and a half.

Wonder Woman In The Angle Menace Mini Comic

Now this is luck for I could have used today's post for Women Wednesday but I won't. Here is the complete Wonder Woman in "The Angle Menace!" that was found in Super Sugar Crisp cereal in 1980:

Superman In Terra-Man's Skyway Robery Mini Comic

Here is he compelete Superman in Terra-Man's Skyway Robbery that was found in Super Sugar Crisp cereal in 1980:
